Coral Dulux teams up with European paints group

CIN is also a founding member of the Nova Paint Club.

With manufacturing units in France, Spain, Portugal, Angola and Mozambique, CIN distributes its products on the Iberian Peninsula through a network of its own shops, in addition to franchises, concessionaries and approved dealerships.

Commenting on the deal, Mr Luiz Carlos da Silva of Coral Dulux said, “For us, this is a major breakthrough and we are excited to bring one of the leading paints in the world to the doorstep of our numerous customers.”

To ensure that the deal with Coral Dulux takes off in grand style, the management of CIN has dispatched one of its top officials, Mr Vasco Amilcar Araujo Lopes, to the country to oversee the nitty-gritty of the transaction.

A co-inventor of a water-based acrylic coating — one component for roughcast protection — Mr Lopes holds a masters degree in Painting Technology from the University of Barcelona and has been associated with CIN for the past 23 years.

“We are really looking forward to do great business with Coral Dulux, whose track record in Ghana and West Africa is second to none,” Mr Lopes stressed.
