Asa Savings supports two basic schools in Kumasi

Asa Savings & Loans Limited has supported two basic schools in Kumasi with some educational items.

The beneficiary schools are the Kaase M/A Junior School at Ahodwo, and the Akorsa M/A Kindergarten School at Bantama, all in the Kumasi Municipality.

Kaase M/A received a 43-inch flat-screen television and 50 pieces of science and mathematics textbooks.

Akorsa M/A received 60 mono desks, 50 pieces of science and mathematics textbooks, and a 99-inch smart flat-screen television.

The team of members from ASA, led by Mr. Francis Gyabeng, the Santasi Area Manager, again presented a carpet to the school to furnish its staff common room.

Mr Gyabeng explained that the initiative formed part of ASA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to people in the communities in which it operates.

He encouraged the children to take their lessons seriously since that was the only way to guarantee their future and become resourceful adults in future.

He reiterated that Asa Savings and Loans Limited's main purpose of operation was to eradicate poverty and to help local businesses strive.

The leadership of the two schools, commended ASA Savings for their generosity, describing the gesture as a timely intervention.

Mr. Solomon Cosmos Kodua, the Headmaster of Kaase M/A JHS, seized the opportunity to appeal to other benevolent organizations to provide the school with a set of computers to stock the school’s ICT laboratory.
