Amanano Rural Bank, with its headquarters at Nyinahin in the Ashanti Region, has donated some items towards the upcoming national Farmers Day to the Atwima Mponua District Assembly to be presented to deserving farmers.
The items, which are estimated at Gh¢600, were made up of six knapsack sprayers and 10 pieces of cloths.
Making the presentation, the Managing Director of the bank, Mr Noble Christiana Osei-Bonsu, said the presentation was aimed at supporting the awards to be presented to the farmers, who had worked very hard to feed the nation and also support the national economy.
He said the bank would continue to support the agriculture sector since it had created many jobs for the youth.
The Atwima Mponua District Executive, Mr Stephen Yeboah, who received the items commended the bank for the donation and assured them that they would be distributed to the deserving farmers.
