Activa International Insurance Ghana pays GH¢4.7 million in flood-related claims in 2026

Following the widespread flooding experienced in Accra and several other parts of Ghana during the 2026 rainy season, Activa International Insurance Ghana has paid GH¢4.7 million in flood-related claims as of October 31,2026.

The payment has helped affected customers recover from losses, restore damaged property and rebuild their businesses and livelihoods.

The heavy rains, particularly those experienced in June, caused significant damage to homes, commercial properties, equipment and business assets across affected communities.

For many businesses and property owners, the flooding disrupted operations and threatened investments built over several years, underscoring the importance of adequate insurance protection.

For Activa, these claims payments represent more than financial compensation. They reflect the company's commitment to protecting customers, supporting business continuity and providing reassurance when the unexpected happens.

Insurance is ultimately a promise, and that promise matters most when disaster strikes. According to Activa, through its claims settlement efforts, it continues to demonstrate that customers can count on the company when they need it most.
