5-Member board inaugurated for G-Pak
G-Pak, a subsidiary of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), has inaugurated a five-member board to oversee the management of the company.
Formerly known as Graphic Packaging, G-Pak Limited is into the commercial printing of books, packaging materials and other printing products.

The board, chaired by the Director of Finance of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Alhaji Mohammed Yusuf Twumasi, has Mr Ato Afful, the Managing Director of the GCGL; Mrs Sheila Minka-Premoh, a legal practitioner; Mr Kofi Amo-Baah, a management consultant, and Mr James Edu Dadzie, the Managing Director of G-Pak, as members.
The board, which has a two-year mandate, was inducted into office by the Board Chairman of the GCGL, Prof. Kwame Karikari, in Accra yesterday.
In line with the observance of COVID-19 safety protocols, the event was restricted to only the board members and the executive management members of the GCGL.

Prof. Karikari urged the new board to come up with innovative ideas that would help keep the company not only in business but also ahead of the competition.
He also entreated members to guide the company to build on the gains it had made in the industry in recent times.
Resolve
Alhaji Twumasi said members would marshal their resources to help with the growth and development of the company.
He said they would particularly pay attention to the finances and operations of the company in order to make it more viable and competitive in the industry.
Alhaji Twumasi, who is also a board member of the GCGL, however, called for the support of the management and staff to enable the board to deliver on its mandate.
He urged them to feel free to engage the board in matters that would inure to the benefit of the company.
History
G-Pak was established in 1973 as a department of the Graphic Group.
After operating as a department for over 20 years, it underwent transformation to become a company on its own and now has an independent management team and a board.
