Mr. Samuel Anim Bediako first visited Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium 19 years ago. He was attending the funeral of a friend’s relative, but the experience stayed with him for a really long time.
He remembers the calm environment, the cleanliness of the grounds and the dignity with which the funeral was handled. Shortly afterwards, when his uncle died at Tema General Hospital, Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium was his first choice.
Over the years, he returned following the deaths of other relatives, including his mother. Today, his late wife is also in Lashibi’s care.
“I have brought several members of my family here, and each time, they have been treated with dignity,” he says. “When you come to view your loved one, they look peaceful and recognisable. That gives the family some comfort.”

For Samuel, proper preservation is only part of the experience. He also values the way the staff communicate with families and guide them through the arrangements.
He speaks warmly of Christy, a client coordinator who has supported him during his late wife’s stay at the facility.
“Whenever I need information, Christy explains what needs to be done and helps me prepare in advance,” he says. Whenever I call and ask to visit my late wife, I am not kept waiting unnecessarily. They arrange a quick visitation and give me the privacy I need.
Samuel has also witnessed Lashibi’s growth over the past 19 years. He recalls a time when parking and space were more limited. Since then, the facility has expanded its grounds, parking areas and event spaces while broadening the range of services available to families.
For him, these improvements show that Lashibi has listened to the needs of the people it serves.
“They have grown over the years, but the standard of care has remained,” he says. “Everything families need can be handled in one place, and that removes a great deal of stress.”
Drawing from nearly two decades of firsthand experience, Samuel offers his endorsement as Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium marks its 25th anniversary.
“I recommend Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium because when you leave your loved one in their care, you have peace of mind,” he says. “The environment is clean, the preservation is good, and the staff treat you with honesty and respect. They have cared for my family over many years, and I trust them.”
For Samuel, Lashibi Funeral Homes and Crematorium has remained a dependable presence through several of the most difficult moments of his life, offering his family consistency, dignity and care when they needed it most.
