Taysec to support cricket development

The Managing Director of Taysec Constructions Limited Ghana,  Kweku Abebrese, says his outfit is ready to support one of the foremost cricket academies in the Nsromma Cricket Academy.

He has pledged to continue his sponsorship and support of the club by continuing the payment for the jerseys and other items for the club.

Mr Abebrese assured the academy when the, leadership of the team including the coach and some players, called on him last Tuesday at his office in Accra to express their gratitude for his support when the team won the ICC Africa Division 2 Cricket tournament last month.

Nine players from the Nsromma Cricket Academy team formed the majority of the national Under-19 team which won the tournament in South Africa and gained promotion to the ICC Division One.

Mr Abebrese charged them to make the Academy proud since cricket was considered a sporting area which was not tapped and patronised in the country.

He tasked them to use that as an opportunity to make the sport attractive and ensure it gained the attention of the business elites to invest in it.

The delegation, led by Coach Mark Bawa and captain of the Nsromma team, Michael Aboagye, expressed gratitude to Mr Abebrese, a cricket fan, and promised to make him happy with the progress of the academy.
