Starlets skipper joins local Stars - As they play Togo tomorrow

Black Starlets captain, Eric Ayiah, has been invited to the Black Stars 'B' team as they intensify preparations for their upcoming CHAN qualifiers.

Ayiah, who recently led the national U-17 side to finish second at the African Championship in Gabon, is expected to join the home-based national team for their friendly against their Togolese counterparts tomorrow.

The pacy forward, who is preparing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India in October, switched camp at Prampram yesterday.

Meanwhile, WAFA defender, Caleb Amankwaa, has also been handed a late call-up by Coach Maxwell Konadu ahead of the trip to Togo.

Also in camp included Okyeman Planners leading marksman, Raphael Ocloo, AshantiGold’s chief tormentor, Shafiu Mumuni, striker Stephen Sarfo of Berekum Chelsea and Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed.
