Self-belief of my players won the day

The Coach of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Prosper Narteh Ogum, says the self- belief of his players was the motivating factor that won the day for them against Kumasi Asante Kotoko last Wednesday.

He told the Graphic Sports that even though they had lost some of the nine matches he played since he took over, Dwarfs has been the better side and continued to improve on their performanced match after match.

"I, therefore, told the boys prior to the match to believe in themselves because Kotoko now are not the Kotoko we knew and that they were only living on their past glories"

This, coach Narteh Ogum said, got into the heads of his players and they believed it was achievable".

He dismissed the assertion that the victory over Kotoko was a fluke and said Dwarfs would win against Ashgold in Obuasi on Sunday should they get things right tactically.

Coach Narteh Ogum further commended the fans for their support and urged them to continue to rally behind the club to help them to survive the Premiership, saying " We will not be relegated but we need the support of all because Dwarfs are the only premier league club in Cape Coast and in the Central Region now and so we must work hard to ensure they stay in the Premier League.
