Sam Jonah, others win at Bok Nam Kim

The much-advertised Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim -sponsored golf tournament took place at the Bok Nam Kim (Air Force Officers’ Mess Golf Club) in Accra last Saturday.

The competition attracted golfers from all the golf clubs in the Accra-Tema Metropolis, as well as the diplomatic community.

The keen contest was organised to launch the Bok Nam Kim Putting Green project.

Among the winners were Sir Sam Jonah, who won the second prize in the Men’s Group A, Mr Kwesi Sannaise Mensah, CEO of Overseas and Bridgeways Shipping, who won the closest to the Pin prize, Air Commodore Nana Krakue(retd), who won the first prize in the Men’s Group A, and Hajia Rabi Ibrahim, wife of the sponsor, who won the ladies prize.

Other winners were Edward Abrokwah, Alex Abrokwah, Frank Gadzekpo, Mr Japhet Achola and Commodore J.O. Kontoh.

Giving the vote of thanks, the captain of the club, Group Captain Seth Kwaku Fianya, solicited the support of all members in making the club one of the best in the country.
