Ongoing Sapholda Hockey League - GRA, Trustees set to explode
The Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium in Accra is likely to burst at its seams on Saturday when league leaders, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), clash with second-placed Trustees in the men’s category of the Sapholda Hockey League.

While GRA, who lead the league with 27 points, are eager to beat Trustees (26 points) to widen the gap and boost their chances of winning the league, Trustees are also bent on toppling GRA at the top of the table.
With only a point separating them, both teams will dig deep into their reserves to outdo each other towards claiming the Sapholda league title.
Incidentally, both teams failed to win their respective league matches last Saturday as GRA were held 1-1 by Exchequers, while Trustees and Police ended in a pulsating 2-2 draw.
Another encounter which will attract much attention on Saturday is the one between third-placed Exchequers and Ark Men.
With 22 points from 11 matches, Exchequers are breathing fire on the neck of Trustees, hoping that they will fail to sparkle on Saturday for them to close the gap between them after adding Ark Men to their victims.

Just like the Exchequers-Ark Men match, the match between Police who are fourth on the league table with 19 points, and whipping boys, Legon Knights, who are yet to win a point after 11 matches, will be one-sided.
In the female category, Police Ladies, who are second on the league table with 24 points, will find it easy against Real Ambassadors Ladies, but the match between Reformers Ladies and Ark Ladies can go either way.
The Masters game between league leaders, Sapholda and second-placed NDK Financiers, will cause fans to sit on thorns, but Multi-stix are likely to add Citizens Internationals to their victims on Saturday to improve their points build-up.
