The result helped Kumasi Asante Kotoko to join Aduana on points following their 1-0 victory against WAFA at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Aduana still lead the league log with goal difference of nine against Kotoko’s five.

It was a match Aduana were sure of winning, having declared their ‘Operation win all home matches’ plan this season, but Medeama, themselves not having things easy this season, had plans of their own and would return to their Tarkwa base satisfied with the result.

The stalemate keeps Aduana afloat of the league log with 17 points from seven matches.

In Kumasi, substitute Frank Sarfo Gyamfi scored in the 56th minute through a header as Kotoko earned a deserved lone goal victory against visiting WAFA 1-0 to record their fourth home win this season, reports Kwadwo Baffoe Donkor

The Porcupine Warriors were made to work hard for the all-important victory the youthful WAFA proved to be the more determined side in the first half until the tide changed in favour of Kotoko.

The clearest chance came in the dying minutes of the game when, Baba Mahama who had then beaten all the defenders of WAFA and only had keeper Razak Abalora at his mercy, decided to give a pass instead.
