Kadri, Cynthia win Stanbic Otumfuo tourney

Over 100  amateur golfers last Saturday took to the Royal Golf Course in search of honours at the Stanbic Otumfuo Royal Invitational tournament in Kumasi.

The 18-hole competition, the fourth to be held at the Ashanti capital, was teed off by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II,  for golfers with handicap, attracted  golfers from Accra, Obuasi, Kumasi, Tarkwa and Sunyani.

Kadri Taidu won the men’s Group B with 38 points with Chris Appau Oppong and Musah Adam, placing second and third respectively. 

In the men’s Group A , Joseph Turkson emerged the winner with 35 points, while Kwabena Poku and Yaw Ofori took the second and third places respectively with 34 points each.

In the ladies competition, Cynthia Nyantekyi  emerged tops with 33 points while Felicity Okyei Gyemne and Mary  Kaonbore followed in that order.
