Attram, who qualified the team for this season’s Ghana Premier League (GPL) and who led the team as a player-coach for a greater part of the first round, was made a deputy coach when Tom Strand was appointed just before the end of the first round, as management sought to halt the unimpressive performance of the Dade Boys.

Attram initially refused to take up the deputy coach role, but upon persuasion, he agreed to work with the Swede.

However, with Olympics still neck-deep in the relegation net, Attram has indicated that he wants to leave as the arrival of Strand hasn’t done much to improve the situation.

“I have tried to leave and have tended in my resignation for the second time, but management has refused to accept my letter of resignation. I tried to send the letter to the board, and they also refused to accept the letter,” the former PSV Eindhoven star said in an interview.
