IGP is special guest for Sanford Women’s FA Cup final

The Inspector General of Police, John Kudalor, who has shown immense interest in his Police Ladies team this season, will be the special guest for the Sanford Women’s FA Cup to be played at the Cape Coast Stadium tomorrow.

Police Ladies and Fabulous Ladies will clash in the final of the inaugural competition to vie for the prestigious trophy as well as the GHC10,000 cash prize at stake.

Gates will, meanwhile, open for free while an entertainment package featuring some local artistes will take place at the final game.

According to the Women’s League Board (WLB) of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), the FA Cup sponsors, Sanford Women’s Clinic, has agreed to foot the bill to allow many people to attend the game which is the first of its kind in women’s football.

Also over a 1,500 people who attend the game will get the chance to win prizes, all as part of the efforts to promote the game.
