Agent lauds Zacharias’ performance

Francis Gorman Hackman, agent of Coach Manuel Zacharias of Bechem United, has lauded his client’s performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, claiming Zacharias could have won the League if he had started the season with the Bechem United.

He has, therefore, urged the owners of Bechem United to support the coach to win honours for the club.

Mr Hackman told the Graphic Sports on Tuesday, after Zacharias had led Bechem United to thrash league contenders, Accra Hearts of Oak, 3-1 at Bechem last Sunday, that the coach’s input had really transformed the club.

He said even though Zacharias arrived after the week 10 fixtures, he had brought his influence to bear to enhance the club’s efforts in winning their last four matches.

“After beating Inter Allies and Medeama 2-0 respectively, he led the team to Cape Coast to defeat Dwarfs 0-2 after which he added Hearts of Oak to their casualties by silencing them 3-1 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park” Mr Hackman noted.

He added that, “steering the team to qualify for this year’s MTN FA Cup final is no mean achievement. “I believe he will guide Bechem United to win against Okwawu United in Cape Coast on Sunday.”

With these achievements, Francis Gorman Hackman expressed the belief that his client had positioned himself well for the coach of the season award.

On his recent issues with the club over his girlfriend, Mr Hackman said the coach had put the issue behind him and would respond at the appropriate time.

Before joining Bechem United, Manuel Zacharias had stints with Sporting Clube Braga of Portugal, Al Najma FC of Bahrain and CI Kasmar of Guinea, Conakry.
