Graphic Online can confirm that President John Dramani has called up main opposition leader, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party to congratulate him as winner of the 2016 presidential race.

The concession therefore paves the way for the chairperson of the Electoral Commission to proceed to declare the results and Graphic Online understands that the declaration is due at 10pm.
An aide to Nana Addo, Eugene Arhin, told Graphic Online that President Mahama and Nana Addo had a 'fruitful chat.'
