Ellembelle race too close to call

Ellembelle race too close to call

The Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, is struggling to keep his head above waters in the Ellembelle Constituency.

With only 16 more centres to collate at about 2:00 a.m., the incumbent Member of Parliament for Ellembelle was leading the Parliamentary race with 19,357 as against 18,886 by Mr Kwasi Bonzoh of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the 2012 elections, Mr Buah won with a large margin of more than 6,000 votes.

Graphic Online’s Kobla Dotsey Aklorbortu reports that the NDC is likely to win in both the Presidential and Parliamentary polls, although with a slimmer margin.
