Trinity United Church, Legon supports Christ Faith Foster home at Frafraha
The Trinity United Church at Legon, has donated items worth GH¢10,000 to the Christ Faith Foster home at Frafraha in the Adentan Municipality of Greater Accra.

The gesture formed part of activities marking the church’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Items donated included bags of rice, toiletries, soft drinks, cooking oil, clothes, tubers of yam, light bulbs, frozen meat and a cash of GH¢4,000.

The Chairman of the anniversary planning committee, Mr Kofi Atta Agyepong, explained that the donation was to thank God for standing firm with the church throughout its 50 years of existence.
“Our anniversary theme is celebrating 50 years of God’s goodness. We are, therefore, at this orphanage to show love and celebrate the goodness of God,’’ he said.
A pastor of the Church, Reverend Maxwell Obeng, urged the caretakers of the centre to show love to the orphans and treat them as if they were their own children.
“Please endeavour to shape their lives in a positive way to enable them have a bright future. Do not treat them as a burden but rather as gifts from God which you are shepherding. God will bless you for doing that,’’ he said.

A supervisor at the orphanage, Mr Abraham Danso, who received the items thanked the church for the donation, adding “we will use them for its intended purpose to foster the welfare of the children.’’
He, however, appealed to other organisations to support the orphanage in its activities.
“Right now, we need help to improve the state of our compound because whenever it rains, it gets soaked with water making movement very difficult,’’ he said.
The Christian Faith Foster Home was established in 1972. It currently caters for 42 children.
