The first suspect, Prosper Kudolo has, however, been arrested and remanded in prison custody at Akuse awaiting directives from the Attorney General’s Department.

The facts of the case as presented by ASP Richmond Akwasi Yeboah to the court presided over by Mr Frank Yao Gbeddy were that on April 24, 2016 at about 10:40 a.m., the complainant returned from church and met the third suspect, Emmanuel in his house.

The prosecutor said as the complainant entered his room, he saw the first and second suspects through the window coming towards his direction.

The suspects then knocked at the door and said they would buy pure water. He said as the complainant turned to get them the water, the suspects followed him into his room and pushed him down.

According to ASP Yeboah, the suspects pinned the complainant on his sofa, held his neck, pulled a machete and asked him to show them where he kept his money.

He said as the complainant refused to show them where the money was one of them attempted cutting his head off but he quickly blocked the machete with his right hand and sustained a deep cut in the process.

ASP Yeboah said at that juncture, the complainant mustered courage and shouted for help and with the assistance of some boys in the area, Kudolo was arrested and handed over to the police while the other two escaped.
