A woman was created to solve the problem of loneliness which God sees as the only thing which is not good in His creation.

A woman is, therefore, God’s finest touch to creation and a symbol of whatever you will ever know as beautiful.
She completes man in filling in his weaknesses. No doubt behind every successful man is a woman. Therefore, if you have a woman in your life, it is in your best interest to honour her to make her feel loved, honoured and motivated to give her best to you.
Some ways to honour your woman:
Marry her properly
Marriage is a woman’s greatest honour. In Ghana, an unmarried woman does not enjoy high social status. Marriage, therefore, makes a woman feel greatly honoured to give her best to you.
The wedding ceremony, reception and gifts are a woman’s greatest memories.
Ordinance marriage is monogamous and as compared to traditional marriage, more difficult to dissolve. Unfortunately, many Ghanaian men fear wedding and see it as surrendering their freedom.
If you really care about your woman push away your fear and show her you are happy to commit to her for life.
Make her feel secured
Your woman needs security to give herself completely to you. You must, therefore, protect your woman’s intrusion of other women. Rivalry or cheating threatens your woman’s self-esteem.
She questions her self-worth and worries why she is not good enough for you. No doubt the Akans say women fear rivalry or ‘four eyes’. Defend your woman from attacks of colleagues, friends and relatives
Show her she is valuable to you
Make time for your wife and share all areas of your life. Assure her she is topmost in your life and show her you put her ahead of your friends, work and relatives. Make it easy for her to share anything on her mind.
Listen to her with your ears, mind, heart and body language. Let what matters to her matter to you. Always appreciate a woman has special needs.
If your woman is troubled know that even when it may appear a small issue to you, to her is a big issue. Therefore, if there is anything your woman needs as far as possible, just do it and have your peace.
Appreciate everything your woman does for you
A woman’s work is never done. She works at work and continues to work at home. She is a teacher, cleaner, cook, dish washer, dietician and the security person of the home.
Show appreciation for everything she does even if you see it as part of her responsibility. Appreciation makes her feel loved, cherished and motivated to do even greater things for you.
Go out often with her
Women feel honoured if they attend social functions with their men. Go out often and where possible in the same ‘African wear’.
Go regularly to church, parties and shows with her. Sit together and hold her hands in private and in public.
Look for opportunities to praise her. Let her friends, colleagues and family members know you are happy with what she does for you. Even if you praise her behind her back, she will get to know and do more for you.
Celebrate your marriage
Anything in life not celebrated exits out of your life. On the other hand, anything celebrated grows in health. Set time aside to celebrate any progress you make in life – birthday, wedding anniversary, birth of a baby and promotions.
Let the world know you have a woman you are proud of. Your celebration can be as simple as giving her a gift, inviting few friends for a meal or drink and spending a weekend out of town.
Celebrating your marriage will keep up your team spirit and push your marriage to greater heights. Celebrate the fact that you are together. This will melt your woman to sing along the old highlife tune ‘all for you’.
Do you honour your woman?
The good book says if you find a wife you find a good thing and receive favour from God. Your woman is a treasure from God to you and He holds you responsible for her holistic growth in life.
You must, therefore, protect her, provide for her and honour her.
If you honour her, you will see the pure magic in a woman and everything will go well with you. On the other hand, if you neglect or abuse her and think that ‘anadwo beye de’ or you will get the best out of her especially in bed, you’ lie bad’.
What is more serious, God will not answer your prayers. (1 Pet.3;7).
Therefore, the starting point for anything you want in life - good health, academic progress, breakthrough in business is to honour your wife. Then God will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
