Apart from paying their school fees, Mr Yeboah would provide books and uniforms for the beneficiaries, made up of eight girls and two boys.

Mr  Yeboah said he was inspired by the word of God to engage in philanthropy and had, therefore, established an organisation called the Love Kids Educational Foundation to help needy, brilliant students across the country, starting from Weija-Gbawe.

Inauguration

Inaugurating the foundation at Weija at the weekend, Mr Yeboah said he was motivated to help the needy by the humble background from which he came from.

"My mother single-handedly took care of us in school. I am divinely motivated to also help others who need genuine support to be able to achieve their dreams in life," he said.

Mr Yeboah, a native of Abetifi in the Eastern Region, explained that as a "rural person" who started his basic school at Oboyang  No. 2, near Abetifi, he and his brother had to use some of their school hours to help their mother on the farm.

He added that it was through hard work that he was able to go through Mpraeso Secondary School and the University of Cape Coast.

Future security

He urged parents to see their children as their future security and do everything to help them in their eduction.

He said his organisation would also give assistance to some of the youth in the area to acquire employable skills to make them self-employed.

Apart from this sponsorship, Mr Yeboah had offered resources for the tarring of a major road in his area, and provided air conditioners for the Weija Police Station.
