Musician Kumi Guitar’s greatest desire is to see his music grow and soon become one of the biggest Highlife musicians Ghana has ever had. He is therefore pleading with Ghanaians especially the media to support his music by giving it the necessary publicity it needs.

“I can’t do without Ghanaians who patronise my music especially the media who make sure my music is in the ears of the rest of Ghanaians,” Kumi Guitar said during the launch of his new single, Brown Sugar.
According to him, he has so much in him to give out but that can only happen if Ghanaians throw their weight behind him.
In Brown Sugar, Kumi expresses love to his girlfriend telling the whole world she is a perfect match for him. The lover man promises never to disappoint his lady because they have been through a lot.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Kumi Guitar said he is ready to take the frontline in highlife music.
“I am hopeful that Brown Sugar released under my new management, Zylofon Media will be a hit soon.
“I am also grateful to my new management for signing me on. The support from Zylofon Media came at the right time because it has not been easy for me in these past years.
“So with Zylofon giving me a Hyundai Sonata, a house at East Legon and $100,000 dollars deal, I am prepared to give music my all,” he said.
Kumi Guitar graduated from Adisadel College in 2002 and he is known for songs such as Mmaa Time, Scriptures, Mmobo, Kanto and Awarie.
