Kingdom Exim: Pursuing excellence in the export business

When Mr James Gnanaraj Rajamani and Mr Immanuel Paulraj Rajamani, CEO and Managing Director respectively of Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited, picked the plaque in the Gold Category at this year's Century International Quality ERA Award ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, they knew their company was truly worthy of the special note and attention it gets at home and abroad.

The Century International Quality ERA Award recognises and promotes companies, organisations and institutions that understand the dedication, continuous improvement, innovation and relentless pursuit of productivity that leads to excellence.

Since its establishment in January, 2008 Kingdom Exim has tried to help to build a strong economy for Ghana by creating employment through exporting a variety of items obtained in this country. No wonder its endeavours won three awards at the 26th President's National Awards for Export Achievement 2015 held late last year at the Banquet Hall in Accra.

The awards were Gold in the export of cashew, Gold in the export of animal feed and the most Diversified Exporter Company for 2015. The company also won honour as the Best Community Trading Company of the Year 2016 at an event organised by the Institute For Government Research Leadership Technology in Nigeria. 

"These awards will definitely inspire us to do more for Ghana as it marches on with its much-needed development agenda," a spokesperson for Kingdom Exim said.

With its head office in Tema in the Greater Accra Region, Kingdom Exim started business with the export of teak wood and later widened its scope by exporting rosewood as well. It now exports cashew nuts, animal feed, soya beans, timber and other agricultural products.

"We know we have become an incredibly important voice in Ghanaian business circles and our ambition is to expand and become a major international outfit that brings glory and honour to Ghana through superior performance," the company's spokesperson added.
