McDan West Africa Tennis Open today
Ghana top seeds, George Darko, Jeff Bagerbasseh and Wisdom Na-Adjrago go into action today when the McDan Open West Africa Tennis Championship begins at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Defending men’s singles champion, George Darko, who dethroned Jeff Bagerbasseh last year when the championship was an all-Ghanaian affair, will face a stiff competition this year.
The championship was originally scheduled for April 25 to 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium but was later postponed due to technical reasons.
The tournament, which has attracted numerous tennis fans to the Accra Stadium, wll bring together countries such as Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, as well as the USA and the United Kingdom .
According to the organisers, the championship is set to grow from time to time with memories as they seek to put it on the global stage.
Meanwhile, McDan Shipping Company and the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) have announced new sponsorship deals from Rush Energy Drink and West Blue Consulting.
