4 Garrison prez wins Farmers Day tennis
The President of 4 Garrison Officers Mess Tennis Club, Samuel Ampadu-Kyei, affectionately called "Kyikyiss" put up a scintillating performance to shrug off stiff challenges from his club mates to win this year’s Farmers Day Tennis Championship in Kumasi.

He overcame an equally impressive player, Samuel Tay, 8-4 in the final before an exciting crowd.
The competitions organised and hosted by the 4 Garrison Tennis Club, was to assess individual players and celebrate the achievements of Ghanaian farmers and fishermen.
At the preliminary stage, Henry Akwaboa beat Nana Osi- Nsiah Ababio 6-1, Otoo Kofi defeated Osei Asibey 6-3, James Kwarteng overpowered Elorm Kpe 6-4 while Kofi Affum-Baffoe accounted for Philip Baidoo 6-1.
At the 1/6th stage, Ampadu-Kyei beat Jerome Adagbe 6-1, Nana Atakora defeated Affum-Baffoe 6-3, Kwasi Dekyi overwhelmingly whacked Eric Agyare 6-1 and Maxwell Osei also managed a 6-4 win over Benjamin Amanquah.
Maxwell Osei won 6-1 over James Kwarteng at the quarter final stage, Robert Tetteh succumbed to Samuel Taylor 6-2 , Ampadu-Kyei defeated Nana Atakora 6-3 while Henry Akwaboa won narrowly over Kwasi Dekyi by 7-5.
The eventual winner Ampadu-Kyei defeated Akwaboa 6-3 to qualify for the final while Henry Akwaboa overcame Samuel Osei 6-2.
