The terms of the performance-based contract between Soccabet and the clubs namely; Wa All Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs and Inter Allies were not disclosed at the announcement of the deal on March 2 in Accra.
However, the spokesperson of Soccabet, Jamil Marabi said the success of the teams, who are all former winners of the GPL informed the decision of his outfit to select them.
According to the management of Soccabet, the deals form part of their commitment towards developing football across the country.
"We are extremely pleased and excited to announce our association with these four wonderful clubs whose history and contribution to the GPL cannot be challenged," Marabi stated.

"Not only it is worthwhile, but for us as a company, it is an amazing relationship. Soccabet believes there is an incredibly strong alignment between our company's vision, our commitment to sports in general and the clubs commitment to promoting high-impact results in the GPL".
Mr Marabi also added that in relation to Soccabet's gesture, the company will also provide special packages and other exciting activities for the supporters of the clubs during their scheduled home matches.
He said the company was confident that issues that have delayed the start of the Ghana Premier League will soon be resolved hence their conviction to go ahead with the contracts.
The Chairman of the ceremony to announce the deal, Lepowura Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula was hopeful that funds the clubs will realise from the deal will enable them hold on to their clubs for a little longer, thereby improving the standard of football in the country.
The Director of Operations for Cape Coast-based Ebusua Dwarfs, Mr John Ansah expressed gratitude to Soccabet for the deal, assuring him that the clubs with the support of the media will do their best to fulfil their obligations in the contract.
