The event, which attracted a large crowd, including the president of the Ghana Tennis Club, Mr Isaac Duah, started with participants going through technical, physical and complete tennis training before they were divided into groups to compete among themselves.

The children were later treated to different kinds of dishes amidst music and dance.

The foundation also organised a similar event at the Vilac International School at Achimita and the Stalwat School at Dansoman last Wednesday and Thursday respectively to introduce the students to the game of tennis.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Mr Peter Mensah, a UK-based tennis coach and CEO of PM Sports said his outfit intended to make the event an annual affair in the hope of introducing the children to the modern ways of the game.

According to him, his foundation in collaboration with the GTF, intended to replicate the event in other regions to help promote the sport.

Mr Mensah, who is on holidays in Ghana, was joined by International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level 2 coach, Yahaya Macauley, George Abban and Andrew Taylor as resource persons for the clinic.
