Mayweather: No Pacquiao rematch on the table
Floyd Mayweather stands firm that there's been no discussions about a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, saying that Pacquiao is only mentioning his name to try to sell tickets for his next fight.

Much to the surprise of Floyd Mayweather and Bob Arum alike, Manny Pacquiao has gone on record several times talking about negotiating a rematch with Floyd. Apparently this is all news to Pacquiao's own promoter and Floyd himself, who tells FightHype that there is no sequel in the works.
"I'm in different cities in different countries and I hear people talking about Mayweather-Pacquiao.
'He really wants to fight? He's scared of me. He doesn’t really want to fight.' They forgot about those ESPN commercials," said Mayweather.
"Once again, I dissected this fighter, the so-called 'best fighter of our generation'. I dissected him; probably was 10 to 2, really 11 to 1, but it's safe to say 10 to 2. 'Mayweather is so boring, he's this, he's that!' I'm boring enough to do the biggest and the best numbers in pay-per-view history," Mayweather explained.
So why is Pacquiao talking about a potential rematch if there are no negotiations taking place? It's all a ploy to sell tickets according to Mayweather.
"It's all bullshit. What they're doing is this, once again, piggybacking off my name to sell pay-per-view numbers when he do go out there and fight again."
While this could be the case, Pacquiao did, for whatever reason, appear to be sincere when bringing up the negotiations for the sequel. But if this really is just some ploy to drum up interest in his next fight, it surely isn't a concerted effort on behalf of Top Rank - with Bob Arum himself refusing to co-sign Pacquiao's statements.
