Hughton replaces injured Tariq Lamptey with Kingsley Schindler
Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has handed a late call up to German-born Kingsley Schindler as replacement for injured Tariq Lamptey.
The Brighton and Hove Albion player suffered a knee injury during their Premier League game against West Ham last Saturday.
He was substituted after 16 minutes in a game his side won 4-0 but was invited by Coach Hughton for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
However, it appears the player might not recover on time before the game on Thursday forcing the 64-year-old ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss to hand a late call up to the FC Koln player.
Kingsley 29 plays for Bundesliga side, FC Koln and would be making his international debut for the Black Stars if he gets to play on Thursday.
