Inter Allies coach to face Disciplinary Committee

The 60-year-old Danish coach was said to have made some remarks about referee Ibrahim Abdulai and his assistant during their game against Kerala over the weekend.

His conduct is said to have contravene the statutes governing the game and has subsequently been refereed to the Disciplinary Committee for questioning.

Following this, the GFA is reminding club administrators and officials to resort to the appropriate means of seeking redress with issues regarding referees instead of open criticisms.

The FA said it has made available referee Complaint Forms to all the clubs which the must use to make their case against referee and not through open criticism.

“Clubs are to seek redress on officiating by completing the form, indicating time, incident, culprits, and submitting to the match review panel within 48 hours after the said match”, an FA statement said.

It said that based on the Complaint Form a panel would be set up to review the performance of the officials and make recommendations.

“The GFA is therefore urging all coaches and club officials to desist from making comments about officiating in public and use the right channel to seek redress”, the statement said.
