“At the moment the points at the bottom are so close just as it is at the top so we have mapped up a strategy to beat Kotoko and claim the three points to enhance our build-up to stay in the league,” Acheampong made the declaration during an interview wirth Rainbow Sports monitored by Graphic Sports yesterday.

Refuting a claim that their 0-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea last Sunday showed clearly that they were not in good form to beat Kotoko today, Coach Acheampong said in football each match had a different game plan.

He explained that the players were not only prepared to die a little to win the game against Kotoko, but had also been adequately motivated to deliver.

“We know that Kotoko is a very tough side which is fighting for the league title, but we have also prepared adequately to give them a fight of their lives and collect the points at stake.

“This will enable Sharks to be in a good position to survive the relegation threat,” he stressed.

He was optimistic that the fans of Kotoko would fill the Nduom Park to roar for their idol club, but that would not have any effect of his players.

Explaining further, he said the fans of Sharks would also be expected to troop to the stadium to cheer on the players to carry the day.
