The league’s final zonal matches were played over the weekend, but pending cases involving Zone 1B and Zone 2A, there is uncertainty over which teams have qualified from those zones.

Guan United and Yassin FC of Zone 1A, Gold Stars of Zone 2A, Hasaacas and Metro Stars of Zone 2B, Inter Allies and Nania FC of Zone 3A, and Okwawu United and Danbort FC of Zone 3B have already booked their places on account of having finished the respective zones as first and second respectively.

In Zone 1B, the Disciplinary Committee may this week rule on the disputes between Bechem United and Bofoakwa Tano, and then B.A. Stars and B.A. United, while the case between Tarkwa United and Deportivo in Zone 2A is also expected to be ruled upon. The matches between the teams locked in dispute failed to end during the league, and the consequence could be far-reaching.

The first two teams of every zone will qualify for the Middle League which was originally scheduled to start on Saturday, May 25.

Three teams from each of the zones will qualify to join the premiership for the next season.
