MTN gives GH¢150,00 to Kotoko in aid of Adarko-Jachie project

Looking on are Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and other dignitariesTelecommunications giants, MTN Ghana, has presented a dummy cheque for GH¢150,000 for the completion of the Club’s administration block and training field at Adarko-Jachie near Kumasi.

The amount was the last part of a commitment by the company towards the construction of a modern stadium for the club.

The project is made up of a gymnasium, dressing room, clinic, laundry, conference rooms, a shop and offices designed to enhance the administration of the club. 

The presentation coincided with the inspection of the project by Asantehene Outmfuo Osei Tutu II, and Mr Michael Ikpoki, chief executive officer of MTN Ghana, to acquaint themselves with the progress of the project.

Otumfuo also inspected an ongoing 20-room facility for Kotoko which is being funded by the Club.

The MTN has so far contributed a total of GH¢375,000 within three years towards the construction of the projects. 

Mr Ikpoki  said MTN was proud to be associated  with the Club, adding that,  MTN has a long term sponsorship package for the development of the Club. He assured of commitment of goodwill of both management and the players for the improvement of the Club.
