Mahatma takes tally to 16 goals
Accra Hearts of Oak captain Mahatma Otoo, has taken his goal tally to 16 and further consolidated his hold on the top spot of the scorers’ chart.

Otoo was on the score cards as Hearts thumped Berekum Chelsea 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday to remain on course for the Golden Boot prize at the end of the season.
The 21-year old striker is followed closely by AshantiGold forward Yakubu Mohamed, who has netted 14 goals in 26 matches.
Kennedy Ashia of Liberty Professionals follows in third position with 13 goals to his credit, two goals more than Tema Youth’s Francis Narh and Yahaya Mohamed of Amidaus Professionals who have hit the back of the net 11 times each.
Selassi Adjei (Amidaus Professionals) and Ebenezer Assifuah (Liberty Professionals) have scored eight times.
As many as 87 players have scored a goal each in the premiership, which has recorded 405 goals after last Sunday’s 26th week matches.
