Kotoko striker Nti Boakye escapes death

Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Kofi Nti Boakye is said to be responding to treatment at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after a serious accident at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Johnson.

Nti-Boakye survived the accident and was immediately rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The 26-year-old was  examined after he was pulled out of his Jeep which which is said to have rolled over.

The former Heart of Lions hitman was visited by Kotoko chairman Dr. K.K Sarpong at the hospital later in the morning alongside other club officials.

Nti-Boakye was not named in the Kotoko squad for yesterday’s  Premier League game away to New Edubiase due to injury.
