Aduana Stars captain, Godfred Saka, says he is set to bounce back in December after he was knocked out by injury in June.

Saka sustained an ankle injury during his side's 1-1 Premier League stalemate with Kumasi Asante Kotoko but believes his recovery is less than a week to go.

The 29-year-old defender told the Graphic Sports that he would be back on the pitch next month after going through rehabilitation.

"I will be back in December after going through all my rehabilitation and I hope to come back much stronger when the new season begins.

"It will be a great feeling for me to return to play again after all these months that I have been absent but everything is fine with me at the moment," Saka said.

The troubling ankle injury hampered Saka’s participation in the just-ended league after failing to make a quick recovery.

The inspirational skipper has been instrumental in the Aduana Stars set-up since joining the club in 2012.
