The Lebanon House at Tudu in Accra was originally chosen to host the WBO International super featherweight title bout, but due to increasingly high demand for tickets, Baby Jet Promotions, organisers of the April 26 bout, considered the Lebanon House as unsuitable to accommodate the large turnout of fans expected to watch the fight fight.

Organisers say the decision to choose the Accra stadium was taken after careful considerations of various factors and the successful nature of the first bout staged by Baby Jet Promotions between George Ashie and Tagoe at the Accra Stadium.

The bout is being will be the second promotions since Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyanentered into boxing promotion last year with the launch of his Baby Jet Promotions to help the fortunes of the sport in the country.
