World awaits Bolt’s show
Glasgow and, perhaps, the world awaits a double dose of Usain Bolt as the world’s fastest man takes his turn on the tracks this weekend.

Having missed the 100m race, won by his compatriot, Bailey-Cole, Bolt will now join Jamaica's sprints quartet for the 4x100m relay, an appearance that organisers say have already sold out all tickets for the events.
Since his arrival, the world and Olympic champion has watched as other Olympians add the Commonwealth Games gold to their collection and the Jamaican may be eager to also do the same.
Just as the world eagerly awaits his performances, the six-time Olympic champion is equally eager to add at least a Commonwealth Games medal to his collection, having missed out on previous events
“I am happy to be here. I have always wanted to compete in the Games. The first one in Australia in 2006, I strained my hamstring and in 2010 in India, it was in October, which was a bad time for me, so I’m really looking forward to this weekend,” he said in an interview.
The world champion's desire to get races under his belt means he will take to the Hampden Park track today for the relay heats and tomorrow for the final – provided that his Jamaican team get the baton around.
Bolt is yet to compete this year, following an injury and a slow recovery, but he insists he is completely well and fit and ready to run.
“I will be running in the heats. I think I need the runs, really, because this is my first run of the season, so I really need to get it going,” the six-time Olympic champion said in an interview.
Though he has been training all week, Jamaica's training for the baton change of the relay handover sessions has seen Bailey-Cole, the new Commonwealth 100m champion, on the anchor leg which is usually Bolt's role, media reports have indicated.
