GNPC Ghana Fastest Human for Tamale Saturday

GNPC Ghana Fastest Human (GFH), a programme aimed at identifying sprint talents for Ghana, arrives in the Northern Region on Saturday, June 18, for an open 100 metre competition. 

The programme is open to all interested athletes in the Northern, Upper East and West regions who are able to make it to the Tamale Sports Stadium at 6a.m. with their identity cards .The first race would be run at 9a.m.

Reks Brobby, CEO of GFH, said: "We want to give every potential sprinter a chance to participate in this meet as it is the turn of the Upper East, Upper West and Northern regions".

He disclosed that so far 10 sprinters had qualified for the September 10 finals in Kumasi from the Central and Western regions.

Ghana's Fastest Human is being sponsored by Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC) Surfline, Adidas Ghana, Red Sea Maritime, Indomie, Moringa King, Pippas Gym, Afam Hair Products, Wrenco Printing, EIB Network, UTV, GTV Sports and Metro TV.
