STANDARD Chartered Bank launched its mobile app, SC Mobile on Saturday, March 30 dubbed with an event dubbed "SC Connect Garden Party" at the Accra Polo gounds and the all-day affair was an elegant and exciting one climaxed by rapper, Sarkodie.
Dressed in formal attire, Obidiponbidi was at his best on the night as he thrilled the patrons who came dressed in their finery with songs like U Go Kill Me, Glory, Illuminati and Biibi Ba.
The patrons went wild when the DJ played Can’t Let You Go. They knew all the lines in the song and Sarkodie just left them to do justice to it and it was so great.
After performing for around an hour, Sarkodie thanked the people for their support.
“I just want to say a big thank you to all who have been with the brand since; for the love and support, I am grateful and I appreciate you all,” he said.
The host of the SC Connect Garden Party was actress and media personality, Joselyn Dumas, and she did great as she entertained the audience and got them laughing with some jokes.
The garden party theme was a good idea and there was more than enough to drink and eat at the event.
