ACCRA-based radio station, Joy FM, has launched its Lovers Dinner Dance with music Maestro, Kojo Antwi, set to take place on Valentine's Day at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
Speaking at the launch, which was held at the Joy FM studios and was live on air on Monday, February 4, Kojo Antwi said the event will breathe new life into relationships.
“It is going to be a night where love will be rekindled, bonds will be brought up and strengthened, intimacy will be ignited.
"That is not all, patrons will get to enjoy not only quality, excellent music and theatrics but get to bond with me as well. You know at the end of every show, I have something I call selfie moments where I get to take pictures with my fans.
“That moment is very vital to me as well, I get to meet fans and talk to them, and those who have questions for me take the opportunity to ask.
"The venue for instance will make it possible for the patrons to see me do everything, they see the band up close, it makes the experience more enjoyable,” he stated.
Speaking on his music, Mr Music Man said, “I do not do the song for one party that is why you will not get me mentioning names in my songs, like ohh I dedicate this song to Ama, no, I do not want anyone to feel left out.
Songs Kojo Antwi promised to perform include “Amirika,” “Nfa Me Nkᴐ Hᴐ,” “Densu,” “Adiepena," and "Akyekyedeԑ" featuring Stonebwoy.
In a follow-up interview, Kojo Antwi encouraged patrons to send him the songs they would like him to perform for their spouses to help make the show more enjoyable.
“One time when I performed at Kempinski, I came as a chef and shared menus which had a list of my songs and at the request of one audience member at a time, I performed the songs,” he stated.
