LAST Saturday, March 23, The Palms at Prampram, was the place to be as journalist, Anny Osabutey tied the knot with his American sweetheart, Whitney Hammel.
The simple but beautiful ceremony was a well attended one with Anny's media friends, those in the fashion industry, old school mates among others all showing up to make the event memorable.
Anny Osabutey's former colleagues at the Multimedia Group Limited showed up in their numbers to support him.
Anny, who is a Communications Manager at the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), wrote a sweet vow for his wife recounting the first time they met at a Live Band gig and how he never imagined a relationship will develop out of their friendship and shared love of Highlife music.
He expressed his appreciation to her for accepting to love him as he was while Whitney said she looked forward to more adventures with him and pledged to make him proud of her.
The couple's love of Highlife music was brought to bear at the wedding as guests, dressed in their finery, were treated to some good old tunes.
Anny's wife, Whitney Hammel, is the Executive Director and Co-founder of Autism Compassion Africa (ACA), a non-governmental organisation that seeks to raise awareness about autism and provide support breakthrough for children with special needs.
Through the application of evidenced-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, Autism Compassion Africa provides support to children with autism in Cape Coast and other communities in Ghana.
