He may not be a big name in the local music industry but Dahlin Gage, a Hip hop and Afrobeats artiste signed to Black Avenue Muzik, is set to thrill the audience at this year’s Ghana Meets Naija concert.
Ghana Meets Naija, the brainchild of Empire Entertainment, is that musical showdown aimed at answering the constantly asked question of who is supreme between Ghana and Nigeria – two countries whose musical trends have continuously influenced each other.
Dahlin Gage, who has been in the industry for about four years has released three singles namely Come Take, Gor Sor and If I Catch You featuring D -Black and he has enjoyed great airplay. He was recently featured on DJ Breezy’s smash hit, Kimpinstik which also features Medikal.
Speaking with Showbiz last Saturday, Dahlin Gage promised a splendid stage performance for music lovers who will patronise the event.
“I am really going to put up a spectacular performance that will thrill the audience, I urge all music lovers to make it to the concert,” he said.
Real name, Dhalin Nii Nortey Noi, Dahlin Gage schooled at Achimota Primary before heading to the United Kingdom where he attended Homerton Boys in London and then returned to Ghana to study at the Central University College.
He comes from Osu in the Greater Accra Region and loves listening to music as well as playing football. Jay Z, P Diddy and his dad, who passed away some months ago, are his biggest inspirations.
“My goals are to make sure I put myself out there locally and internationally and make Ghana proud with a BET and Grammy Awards, I also look forward to working with artistes from all around the world,” he stated.
