Speaking on the sex video of Shatta Wale which stirred a lot of controversy last week, the outspoken lawyer said Shatta Wale is not above the law and the earlier the president calls him to order the better it will be for Ghana.

The President is known to be a fan of Shatta and even invited him to the Flagstaff House.

“For crying out loud Shatta Wale is a role model to the youth and if he is showing his private parts to the world without questioning,  who knows what he can do next?
This is not the first time he is misbehaving and I think the president should call him to order,” he told DJ Advisor on Happy FM on Saturday.

In Maurice Ampaw’s opinion, if the law could deal with Ekiki Me hitmaker, Wisa, for showing his manhood on stage then the same law must deal with Shatta Wale.

“The act of videoing a sex act and putting it on social media is a crime which should be condemned in the first place. I therefore call on President Nana Addo to release a statement condemning the act and also ask him to desist from such acts,” he explained.

To him, Shatta Wale does all these brazen things because he feels he knows the ‘big men’ in the country.

Maurice Ampaw also directed his attention to the lady captured in the sex tape saying she should be invited by the police for questionsing so she can identify the two gentlemen in the video.

The sex video, which was leaked via the musician’s Snapchat on Tuesday, captures two guys receiving a blowjob from a lady whose face was showing in the video.

The guys’ faces were however not visible but a voice in the video reportedly sounded like that of Shatta Wale.

The Zylofon Music signee has since last Tuesday been heavily criticised for indulging in such an indecent act.

He first reacted to publications about the leak by attacking the media for giving attention to the video.

However, he made a U-turn on Wednesday and apologised to Ghanaians and the media for his unfortunate action.

“For the unfortunate display of obscenity on my personal Snapchat platform on Tuesday, June 19 – a material that was mistakenly posted by one of my associates, I apologise to the people of Ghana for such an unpleasant exhibition,” he said in a press statement.

“I apologise to all SM fans who felt slighted by such a move. My sincere apology to my label Zylofon Music and also to all my corporate partners,” he stated.
