LAST year, Dancehall artiste Samini released a single My Own which earned him Reggae Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in May this year.
This year, the Linda hitmaker dropped another single, Obaa, which hasn’t been doing badly on the music scene and now Samini has announced he will be releasing his seventh album titled Untamed.
Even though the announcement on his social media pages didn’t give details of the date of the release, Samini has raised high expectations for the upcoming album which features Obimbra, a song against rape.

He told Graphic Showbiz the album was a “piece of music art” for lovers of good Reggae music.
“Samini stands for quality and that is exactly what Untamed projects.
"It defines my years of doing good music and people will appreciate that I have become a master of my craft.
"My Own was big and I have songs on the album which I know will make good exploits as well. Besides, Reggae isn’t new to me and this time we are doing it bigger and better,” he stated.
Samini’s debut studio album, Dankwasere, was released in 2004 and it featured hit song, Linda. The rest of the songs on the album were equally good and established him as one of Ghana’s talented artistes.
A renowned live performer, Samini, real name Emmanuel Andrews Samini, has performed alongside international acts such as Sean Paul, Akon, Kevin Little, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder, Damian Marley, Bennie Man, Jay-Z, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Culture, Steel Pulse, among others.
