Kojo Antwi, who goes by the moniker The Maestro, has put up some elaborate concerts over the years and now fans of the Akonoba hitmaker in the United States will get the chance to see him do his thing on his The Maestro Tour.
Scheduled to start on Friday, July 27, the tour is an initiative of Brand Africa Group & Berks Concepts and is to give Ghanaian artistes the chance to get up-close and personal with their fans.
Kojo Antwi is expected to start his tour at the White Hall, Illinois, Chicago which will also commence this year’s edition of the Ghana Fest programme, organised by the Ghana Council in Chicago.
The Afafanto artiste is expected to play similar shows in other states including Minnesota, Maryland and New York.
This is not the first time the organisers are putting up such a show. Last year, they hosted Grammy award winner, Angelique Kidjo at the North Carolina Museum of Arts in California in September.
With songs from his big repertoire including Medofo Pa, Kakai, Adiepena, Densu, Dadie Anoma, Rocklyn, Me To Nko and many others, Kojo Antwi is sure to thrill patrons with not only his voice, but his amazing stagecraft.
