AT a time when our male celebrities are busy tying the knot, it does not seem like rapper, Medikal is catching that fever.

And from his post on Twitter on Friday, July 27, he may never catch it. In a tweet on Friday, the Yesu rapper stated that he may never get married. He tweeted, “I might never get married 🙄 — MEDiKAL (@AmgMedikal).

This is sure to cause a stir as the AMG act is known to be in a relationship with fellow artiste, Deborah Vanessa aka Sister Derby and they have been flaunting their relationship on social media for all to see.

In a recent interview with Showbiz, Sister Derby said although Medikal has not proposed yet, all the signs showed that he would marry her.

She said he has given her enough proof to show that they would be together forever.

“He always tells me that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and that we will be together forever. He also promises me that he wants me to be the mother of his children,” she said.

So this post is somewhat of a surprise. Or who knows, maybe Medikal is just joking although the post has since been deleted.

The relationship has been subject to break up rumours for sometime. Recently, there were reports that Sister Derby was threatening to leave the relationship following a text message she read on Medikal’s phone.

The Confirm artiste however came out to clear the air saying things were going on smoothly for them. Sister Derby is nearly 10 years older than him, but she has said that is no threat to their relationship.

Born Samuel Adu Frimpong, Medikal says his philosophy in life is – don’t expect anything and you won’t be disappointed.

Being one of Ghana’s fastest rising and youngest hip hop artistes, he has released a couple of hit songs including Confirm, Forever My Love (featuring Bisa Kdei), Confirm Remix (featuring Sarkodie), By Heart Boy, Connect, Too Risky (featuring Sister Derby) and Bless You.
