The Confession hitmaker told Showbiz on Sunday, November 11, that he is being very cautious about getting on a new record label because he wants to ensure that he is doing the right thing and everything is in its rightful place before jumping on board another record label.

“I am not in a hurry at all to get a new record label, when things fall in place, I will certainly be signed on and you will hear about it,” he said.

Kofi Kinaata who just returned from an European tour which  took him to places such as Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Denmark and France said he had an amazing time in all the places he performed.

“The tour went really well especially in Italy and Switzerland, the audience were very responsive and fun to be with, infact I had a great time,” he said.

Currently the ambassador of International Organisation for Migration (IOM), Kofi Kinaata has also been busy talking to young people about the dangers of migration.

“I have been going to places around the country talking to young people who like to travel through the desert or through other illegal means about the dangers involved in such actions.”

He also represented the creative arts at this year’s Edinburgh Arts Festival where he met with people from all over the world.

“I went with a government official to the festival and we met a lot of people, there was so much to learn about each other’s country, it was very entertaining and educative,” he said.

His latest gig was Saturday, November 10 at the 25th anniversary of Goldfields where he treated guests to a wide variety of songs from his repertoire.

Born Martin King Arthur, Kofi Kinaata said he is about to shoot videos for some of the songs he has released and ones he is yet to release.

“I have songs like Last Show and The Whole Show and I want my fans to expect another great track from me before the end of the year.”

Away from his career, Kofi Kinaata says he is dating but would not disclose the name of his girlfriend or further comment on his relationship.
