Harrysong had his fans worried after he shared an Instagram post talking about his death on September 6.

The AlterPlate Records founder urged his fans not to cry when he dies, saying his life should be celebrated with a concert.

He wrote: “Don’t cry (when) I die, celebrate, put up a kingmaker concert, empower more youths,.. I have lived.. I have done my bit, carry on in grace… TEKERO I LOVE YOU ALL.#altersoldier.”

However, reacting, Teebillz who once battled and recovered from depression, commended Harrysong for crying out at the right time.

According to him, there was nothing shameful in seeking help over his situation.

He, however, encouraged Nigerians to show love to one another rather than shy away from the reality of ‘consciousness.’

"It’s Ok ‘not to be Ok sometimes my Brother’ and there’s no shame to it! I’ve been there! The Saddest part is that our society shy’s away from the truth and being human, we are covered up by a culture that is so far lost. We emulate the western world at our convenience but shy away from the reality of consciousness’

“You did the right thing, crying out at the right time, unlike myself! The western world that we emulate has lost so many lives due to ignorance.

“Your mind is the greatest weapon to attack the delusional world that we live in bro! When you understand the dynamics of life, define your values and understand your purpose in life, the rest is a daily exercise. Gratitude is my recommendation.

“ If we can all exercise empathy and love to one another, the world will be a better place to contain all of us in peace. Don’t get carried away from reality and the social media world folks.”

Harrysong's management company Alterplate, has issued a statement stating that their artiste was dealing with “some emotional issues”.

The statement was signed by Alterplate’s spokesman, Desmond Ike.

Excerpts read, “A big thank you to concerned fans, friends and family who have put in calls, messages and emails to check on Harrysong after his last alarming Instagram post.

The truth is Harrysong has been dealing with slight emotional issues in the last few days and has been trying to manage it alone.

“But at this point we are getting him the needed help. We have been in talks with a therapist and a session has been booked.

"Depression is real, but when that happens, one should seek for help from appropriate quarters.”
